This frame had fallen into disrepair over years of neglect. Corners separated, ornate details crumbled off, dirt and soot accumulated from being hung above a fireplace on an outside wall. We began by cleaning and prepping the frame to accept the re-created ornate composition molds. After the molds have been replaced, we re-gilded and toned the finish to replicate the original frame.
